Nope. The final sacrifice to kill the Anti-spiral clearly shows TTGL spitting out GGGL, when then spits out AGC, when the spits out GL, all to get to the Anti-spiral.
The final battle was fought in a fantastic subspace where imagination was made material. The two gigamechs did not fight atop a "real" galaxy, nor did the Anti-spiral gigamech use "real" galaxies as shiruken, but rather in a pocket dimension which acted as a sort of holodeck.

At about 155 feet, I may not be the largest super in existence, but I have the largest sword to cut all of you!
