In the words of Bob Dylan, everybody must get stoned.... no wait, wrong song.... ah! The times, they are a-changin'.

There just isn't a lot of activity on here lately – lots of lurking, but not much posting. So we're gonna stir it up a little bit.

tl;dr: Post more on >>>/fw/, >>>/cats/, and >>>/w/; post non-crap on >>>/code/; suggest some interesting board ideas.

Average posts per week over the past 90 days:

/fw/ 0.70
/cats/ 1.24
/j/ 3.81
/code/ 3.89
/w/ 4.98
/o/ 6.22
/big/ 6.61
/f/ 12.52
/ma/ 19.29
/m/ 22.32
/z/ 23.72

Clearly /m/, /z/, /ma/, and /f/ have no trouble staying afloat. /big/, /o/, and /j/ are doing all right considering the specificity of their subjects, although /j/ could certainly use more posting – especially considering that ko-chan is no longer around, and their "goods" board seemed fairly active.

>>>/fw/ is by far the most significantly under-performing board. Unless someone has a totally awesome collection of light-related images they're willing to dump, it's going to get axed early next year. Shame, too, because the existing posts are decent quality; there just simply aren't enough of them.

>>>/cats/ has been disappointing lately. For a while it was a decent board with a handful of regular posters and fresh content, but as of late, it's tapered off to practically nothing. As with /fw/, post more or it's getting canned.

>>>/code/ gets posts on occasion, in fact more than /j/, but well, they kinda suck. If this board's quality doesn't improve a bit, it's going bye-bye too. (I'm a bit surprised so few people have taken advantage of the ability to post zip/tar files there.)

>>>/w/ has a misleadingly high average; most of those are in the headphone thread, and the board gets hardly any love aside from that, which is silly because there's no shortage of backgrounds (unless everyone is just using a solid color background).

Btw, content archives will be posted for any boards that get cut, so there's no need to start furiously downloading everything.

Now, cutting these boards alone would suck, so along with these changes there will be some new boards added. Probably three or so, but largely depending on how many are removed. Any suggestions?
