Source is The Lucifer and Bisquit Hammer (yes, that's really the title). It's basically another "teenagers are given superpowers to defend earth against a series of increasingly powerful bosses" manga, but with some pretty interesting and often quite dark twists. And genuine antiheroes, which isn't all that common in the genre. It's not really the best manga ever, but it's my favorite in the genre. If you like action drama with a fair helping of fanservice and HEROIC SPEECHES, it's definately worth a shot.

Yes, he just headbutted an old woman so hard that her brains flew out. To be fair the old woman was a crazed assassin who tried to kill him and his partner/girlfriend, but still.
