Human anatomy in mecha manga never looked right to me. I guess they spend all the time drawing robotic stuff, and skimp on the stuff like facial features and correct angles for various body parts.

I read the fist book, It kind of based in that world at the end of the anime when, shinji dreamed of a world with out eva's, it even starts with him crashing intro Rai, the thing is nerv still exists for some reason, and every one keeps on having a dreams about the eva's, this manga deftly needs to be read from start to end.... the only other thing is they changed Rai's character

i dont know the fans have been asking for another eva for some time.
and as the story progresses, they do become eva pilots, just takes them a manga and a half, it focus more on the characters then the action, but the action is there.
