The art just got lazy halfway through, making even the characters look off model a lot of the time. It's kind of disappointing.

of what i've seen so far, the manga seemed to go way too fast, encounters that lasted ten minutes in the show were only like two pages. the only good thing about the manga compared to the anime was they left out the emphasis on his use of drugs and the pedophilia.

The one good thing you can say about this manga is that it makes you laugh. It does that well, even in the later, awful chapters I would laugh at the pages. In that way, in at least one way, it is so good.

I came across a megaupload of the series up to chap 40 (Is that the end?). Anyway maybe this is of interest to someone and all.

I got it all from Lurk, so whatever they say.

The Novels had loads of Lewd thoughts in it, the animé had loads of filler 2 thirds the way in and the Manga turned into poorly researched psychology.

IMO the manga had more sexuality than the novel. But the novel had more drugs. There were many hilarious drug scenes, including one where Sato and Yamazaki get high and start kickboxing in the local park.

I think I preferred the novel best overall

Though the art in the manga was really quite good! Very stylish and expressive, I'm interested in check out the artist's other works.
