A circle is interesting.

No.993

Indeed. It's a plane curve everywhere equidistant from a given fixed point, the center.

No.825

I love Dyson structures! Too bad you could never build a proper Dyson sphere. Guess we'll have to stick to Dyson swarms.

Wouldn't the energy required to gather that natural energy and transport it be humongous ?

Apart from that, if I recall correctly, there isn't enough matter in our solar system to create a stable dyson sphere from known materials.

Wha? A triangle is only three connected points.
So, get drunk and pick three random stars in the night sky and BOOM! bigass triangle...

No.926

What the hell happened to this board? First I see everyone around, posting circles happily, then these trianglefags come in and talk all this shit?

NO! You can't do that. Just because the triangle has earlier, more primitive beginnings than the circle, it doesn't just throw the circle in with being a wuss. I mean, sure the triangle could probably beat him up, but you need to understand that, unlike the triangle, the circle doesn't aspire to be edgy.

No, the circle is an all-'round, situation-shaping guy. He fits in with most shapes in many situations, and in this day and age, new types of shapes are appearing everywhere, making him feel even more at home; it just works. I'd wager to say that before the rough triangle would even lay one point on him, he would have smoothed things over completely. And if not, the triangle would have looked like an uncivilized hood, scratching up that perfect curve the circle has going on. Everyone would end up giving him dirty faces as the circle would receive consolation and probably sex from his girlfriend the cube (who the triangle happens to have a crush on) later.

Give up, triangle thug. The circle's world is far too advanced for you.

No.936

fuck yea circles

No.946

hay so you can squish a circle but a triangle will be rigid and not give way to pressure. triangles are the strongest geometric shape in existence and are the basis for every other shape, even circles, your mom, and your mom's teets (which are not very circular).

Circles are made out of triangles, not the other way around. Circles are clearly dependent on the existence of the triangle.

No.947

I think that these language charts are wrong. It seems rather nonsensical that a universal proto-european language could have ever existed in the distant past when next to no long range communication was possible. More likely these charts are showing our lack of knowledge of these languages, and thus lump widely varying tongues into vast groups.

The assumption is that the language group started in one place then fanned out.

No.945

>>940
Except that that's not true. Sanskrit was one of the languages that branched off, just like Proto-Germanic or Proto-Latin. But these are just broad groupings of similar dialects which developed into the known languages.
