So I just found a new favorite beverage: chocolate chai. It's like drinking a good cup of cocoa and chai tea at the same time, and it's pure awesome.

I've never tried chai tea.

I went to a restaurant once that had a dish with some kinda creamy red sauce, so I tried to reproduce it. Except I suck horribly at cooking, and especially figuring out what's in food, so I just figured what the hell, and stirred together some marinara and cream cheese.

The whole time I thought it'd suck, but it actually isn't bad. I don't know if it's just that the tomatoes in the marinara or if there was some sort of interaction with the cream cheese, but the taste was a little bitter. So, I added a half teaspoon of sugar to even it out. It mostly worked but as I said I suck at cooking and I didn't stir it in enough so a couple bites were a little... crunchy. :|

However it seemed to work okay, but wasn't at all like what they had at the restaurant so maybe I'll try something else next time.

No.29

It was probably Vodka sauce... try that next time, but use a recipe

I've made this a few times and it's always amazing, but I made a mess of flipping it last week and it completely fell apart, so I thought, fuck it, I'll eat it as it is (it was less than half-cooked)

Anyway, turns out it's not a myth as I always thought, uncooked eggs can actually make you very sick. It was pretty cool though, I was having crazy visions; while I was being sick time stopped for a second and I could see myself from the side with a gush of puke hanging from my mouth, and then in bed my arms were huge, and a poster fell off my wall at the corner and when I pushed it back up I saw the whole wall completely crumbling away.

WOW

No.20

I just made one, it was delicious. I know I would've messed up the flipping part, so I just scrambled it.

What flavour did you use? What other ingredients did you put in? I usually use bacon noodles, then in the egg mix i put red onion, red peppers, soy sauce and a little pepper. If I have cheese I put that on top after I flip it so it melts

No.23

I must say, I had never heard of bacon noodles prior to reading about them on this board. I don't know why not, either, because they're the obvious combination of two AWESOME FOODS. Noodles are great and really versatile, and bacon is even better.

No.24

Have you ver eaten a raw egg ?

I have done it couple of times ( broke it into a cup and swallowed whole)

never got sick.

They're probably the cheapest thing in the entire store lol, working out at about 5c for a packet.

My girlfriend said it was because they were battery eggs and they're more likely to give you food poisoning if they're not cooked properly. But I don't know.

As in, the opposite of free range...
Battery hens are caged, fed the very minimum to survive, don't get any exercise and their eggs are collected by the farmers like each morning. Once they stop making eggs they are killed.
As such, battery eggs are lower quality than from free range chickens, ie pale yolks, weaker shells, etc. But they are cheaper, which is why I get them. 16 battery eggs for a pound, compared to 6 free range eggs for £1.30 or something.

I just had bacon noodles in tomato soup
But i couldn't be bothered with the soup so i used tuna instead
It looked like puke
But it was nice

11p tesco Bacon noodles
made in a cup
add soy sauce
mash up tuna and mayonnaise in a bowl
dump noodles on top

leave to stand while you do the dishes for your sick flatmate
eat stone cold

Hm... I recognize this post somehow.

Flavors make sense together, maybe except for the bacon, but I would say mixing bacon and tomato soup seems about as weird.

Then again I thought the whole ramen + egg thing was weird until I tried it out, too.

There was some other package of something Russian that had Haruhi on it, too. I can't remember what it was though.
