I went to a restaurant once that had a dish with some kinda creamy red sauce, so I tried to reproduce it. Except I suck horribly at cooking, and especially figuring out what's in food, so I just figured what the hell, and stirred together some marinara and cream cheese.

The whole time I thought it'd suck, but it actually isn't bad. I don't know if it's just that the tomatoes in the marinara or if there was some sort of interaction with the cream cheese, but the taste was a little bitter. So, I added a half teaspoon of sugar to even it out. It mostly worked but as I said I suck at cooking and I didn't stir it in enough so a couple bites were a little... crunchy. :|

However it seemed to work okay, but wasn't at all like what they had at the restaurant so maybe I'll try something else next time.
