Well, i unpacked my older mac tonite. Tested shcism tracker on it, it seemed to work fine for the few minutes i spent in it. Only problem is the disk image file doesn't seem to open under 10.2. I had to unpack the files on my newer mac. Perhaps there would be an option in the build process to fix this ?
I'm surprised it worked, but then again why should i be ? It's my fave music software, it's the most awesome music software!
You should be surprised it works. Apple has gone to great lengths to make it difficult to use newer SDKs to build software that works on older machines. I have a copy of the 10.2 and the 10.4universal sdk- I use the former for PPC and the latter for Intel macs, and then I glue the two schismtracker binaries together using lipo. It's a big pain in the ass and I hate Apple for doing it.
When I can build again, I'll fix the dmg files if you're willing to test.
