MIDI Banks don't appear to work (6)

2 kb

When exporting to MIDI, the bank settings don't appear to work. I know some of the MIDI stuff works already, but this function does not appear to work.

When played on Quicktime, the Saw Wave is supposed to sound like the one played at Program 82 (81 in Schism Tracker), and Bank Select MSB 1 (0 in Schism Tracker).

Whoops, let me revise that:

When played on Quicktime, the Saw Wave is supposed to sound like the one played at Program 82 (81 in Schism Tracker), and Bank Select MSB 1 (1 in Schism Tracker?).

Did you put something useful in the Bank Select in the MIDI output page?

Try something like:

Bc 00 a Bc 20 b

in the bank select field on the MIDI output configuration.

Thanks, but you still have some work to do on bank changes when exporting to MIDI... they still don't appear to work after putting them in the output page.

Here's the bug:

OK, I think the Bank Select stuff works. However, they change the bank for the channel next to it! I found this out when fiddling with the Bank Select stuff. Therefore, it is a bug.

Please fix this... I'd be glad to support this.

That export thing has the same thing with the Bank Select bug.

Bug #2: The pitch wheel for Channels 2 and up are sometimes set to 0000 instead of 2000 when music is stopped. Channel 1 is unaffected.

All of this MIDI stuff was tested with SimpleSynth using the SimpleSynth virtual input.
