hello!
my Schism Tracker (Ubuntu build) and self compiled version always crash when I am offline or my local laptop has no ip address asigned.
tracker just plain crashes after starting, I dont see the gui or any other error message.
??? please help
Old versions did this; do current GIT checkouts do this?
Why is schism looking for an ip address anyway?

btw, it's an excellent way to slave a bunch of machines and control them from one copy of schism.
