> Lets not forget the truly unique feature in all of modern digital audio software.. THE ABILITY TO LOAD A FUCKING TRACK WITHOUT INTERRUPTING THE AUDIO STREAM. Ie, while the track loads, the old one still plays, when the new one loads, it plays right away (only if you were playing though). DJ the fuck out of those old XM's now.

this coupled with the sample cutting, sample reversing etc, without stopping pattern playback, would be gorgeous.

current builds have relaxed this somewhat..

alt-a results in stopped playback

Schism Tracker chrashed when changing "number of rows in pattern" from 96 to 112 in playback. Would be nice if changing values in the "Pattern Editor Options" box (2*F2) wouldn't stop playback either. Like alt-j! ^

interesting notice, mckmn.

<distance> interesting, now that i try it, if i have a 32 row pattern and during playback switch it to 96, playback stops
<distance> but if i hav a 96 row pattern and during palyback switch it to 112, playback doesnt stop
<distance> F6 playback of pattern with row=32 , f2 switch to rows=33 -> playback stops
<distance> 33->48 stop
<distance> 48->50 stop
<distance> 50->64 stop
<distance> 64->65 stop
<distance> 65->96 stop
<distance> but 96->112 no stop
<distance> 32->99 stop
<distance> 32->100 stop
<distance> 32->112 no stop
<distance> so switching from 32 row pattern to anything below 112, causes playback to stop
