I felt the behaviour of Schism with playing more than one note, disregard what NNA, is different from IT's. Dunno what, but it hasnt been always this way

  1. Load a looped sample.
  2. Play a note. No surprises here.
  3. Play the same note again — playback stops instead of new note being played!

i've never even HEARD of a ^ ^ ^ and a retrig somehow stopping playback of song. sounds idiotic to me, to be perfectly honest.
