I've always wanted this :)
me too, can we have it a big fullscreen one that also allows keyjamming? it'd be wick-ed!
it'd also show me what i should cut off so that i wouldnt get <20Hz dc offset type stuff, and if i can compensate for high-treble spikes with the cutoff filter or not.
The waterfall page supports keyjamming in recent builds, perhaps it could be used for this?
"Waterfall page"?
Same was as in registered it.exe - press F5 and then press Alt-F12
ok that f5 + alt-f12 thing works, however there is no way to put a ^ ^ ^ into it so that a looping sample would stop playing
it'd be nice if, in addition of being able to jam onto it, one could press 1 ( ^ ^ ^ ) to stop the playback of a looping sample. :)
so uh cvschangeslog says "waterfall - control playback channel", is that tab, shifttab?
oh i got it already, wicked. its , and .
anyway, blind keyjam record into pattern during waterfall would be wicked.
come to think of it, any kind of way of putting jammed stuff in f3+f4+waterfall into f2 would be nice. would allow for totally blind tracking. who knows what treasures one would come up with, just for fun & kicks
Well, if all you're going for is not seeing the pattern editor, you could just turn off your monitor :)
Anyway looking back at this, >>30 referred to a different view on the F5 page, as opposed to a separate page. Still cool.
