G in F11 and F5 plays a note instead of going to the pattern
Hmm... i had an instance of schism running for a longer period of time. When i wanted to change volume in F2 it played notes of the currently selected sample. Even when wanting to exit schism. (Y -> yes). Not very replicable, i think
What system was this on? Was capslock stuck?
... how does caps lock matter?

That's been in IT for a long time, but it shouldn't matter at all on pages other than the pattern editor.
>>336 I can't confirm that, is it so?
I'll move it to the pattern editor page if you're sure, which begs the next question: should it work on other pages in non-classic mode?

I do not think capslock was on. I have the compulsive behaviour of only wanting my numlock light to be lit, so capslock never gets used.
I had this behaviour a few more other times. But it isnt that obvious what im exactly doing that causes this behaviour.

How odd, I have the same obsession. I even remapped the caps lock key to control so it never accidentally gets pressed.
Maybe for these cases it would be useful to have schism track keys pressed in some way (probably a compressed binary format to save space) so it can be reproduced or reviewed.

So it seems my capslock obsession isnt all that: The behaviour appeared to be caused by capslock. But what you did, the caps F2 only isolation, is really helpful. Thanks. It doesnt feel like a all blocking counterproductive bug now.
Btw: what is the use of a caps-block besides only playing notes in a jamming way while a pattern loops? (I didnt even know this feature was in it.exe)
