Also, Schism should probabbly reset all channels on song loop... Or is that a "bug" in a tracked music?? feature?? :-) I think they should be all reset, but that's my silly opinion ;-)

Actually, 21 22 23 and 24 are stuck too :-/ forgot to scroll down... regardless, it kind of ruins the playback :-/

Fine, I kind-of agree, perhaps a switch, so one can flip the feature on while tracking... I'll have to get ahold of a copy of digitrakker to see if it play correctly without getting those channels stuck to make sure it is not some sort of loading/translation error... Or, perhaps someone could verify that for me?

I could say it very likely is an error, because Modplug's MDL loader is crap.

I've never in the ~15 years I've been using ST3/IT/Schism needed an option to stop playing every channel on song loop. The note-cut is there for a reason.

I'll give digitrakker a whirl in 8 hours or so, when I can give it a go inside qemu, and see if it's a bug or not. Hoping the mdl is just screwed up ;-)

I loaded http://eval.sovietrussia.org/wiki/MDL.TXT into the wiki. I'll try and take a close look at it in the near future...

Verified, It plays fine in Digitrakker, so it is a naughty bug in Schism :-/ I'll make an MP3 of it at some other time perhaps for comparison.

Here is also the newer format of an MDL... the one on the wiki is quite dated ;-)

Finding the differences/errors clearly marked will probably make finding problems easier...

I tried updating the page, and it looks like MySQL has suddenly decided to stop handling character encodings properly. Guess I have to put some time into figuring out why the db spontaneously broke.

Also MySQL can choke on a bucket of cocks. (with respect to jwz)

Here is another file that should provide extra hints as well... Yes it's mostly docs for Digitrakker, however while reading it, there is mentioned a few things, such as a blank sample silences the channel.... and a few other doo-dads... Hope it is of help.

Blank samples silence the channel in Impulse Tracker, too, and should do so in Schism. If not, it's a bug, and a big one at that because I a lot of old mods that take advantage of that fact.

Fixed the wiki, and added updated versions of MDL.TXT and DIGITRAK.TXT – now with proper formatting! :P~

(As seems to be the norm for PHP/MySQL stuff, I don't even know what broke or what fixed it, but after enabling a couple of debugging flags it magically worked... meh.)
