Pause button (8)

Just a thought this morning.

One the first press, make F8 pause the song at the current point of the current pattern, setting the cursor at that point in the Pattern editor.

F5 then resumes from that point.

Second press of F8 acts like the current f8 and stops the song.

It came to me while listening to KungFuFurby's latest entry in the Trippy compo.. somewhere around pattern 150, i got hungry and didn't want to start it all over again :)

Not really, and I don't think the changelog would be the best source. These things aren't "tagged" or anything, they're mostly just slipped in...

That's really a missed chance! People dont use awesome stuff this way cuase they dont know of its existance. I think I only know and use a few of new functionalities simply because I ran across them on the forum.

will show all non-Impulse tracker commands. It's a bug that Shift-F8 isn't listed; most things are.
