This doesn't make any sense. Walmart is just a store; a big store. What do you mean "or else"? No one is holding a gun to your head. You go in and buy stuff, or not. No one is taking names. Just capitolism. And capitolism is the only way to be truely free. You do want to be free, don't you?

No.420

Sorry. "Capitalism". Dur.

No.421

The thing is walmart exploited this "Capitalism", they have lobying power beyond any power the tax payers could even dream about. The original definition of a monopoly was a corporation with enough power to sway the government’s decisions, needless to say that did not work out. When the corporations pull the strings of the government it's not really capitalism anymore but it is not communism because it's not accepted. Things are getting closer to communism because the ties between corporations and governments but because it's all lobying the goverment doesn't have any power over walmart. COPORATIONS CONTROLING GOVERMENT IS WORSE THAN GOVERMENT CONTROLLING CORPORATION.

BOTH SUCK!

lol, I posted these. I was doing a Walmart logo for a store opening at the same time I did the 'Canuckastan' logo... a friend suggested a communist walmart wallpaper for some lawls. So, take what you want from it... I like Walmart. It provides jobs, decent wages for such a store, benefits, and low low prices... everyday.

Still, Walmart is all that is good AND bad about capitalism. This is the way things are going... Wall-e is a good look at that.

Thanks for the explaination. I'm 419 and 422. I'm so pissed at the way the US is getting away from the free market model. Let people and businesses fail. It's the only way to learn and get better. And what I do to pursue happiness is none of the governments F-ing business!

Allowing people and small businesses to fail is the logical conclusion of the free market model. There's a reason Milton Friedman hated social services.

Isn't Walmart constantly being accused of anti-syndicalism?

"Free market" also means that the Daddy State doesn't tax you (directly or through inflation) to bail out the Barely Breathing Big Fat Cats currently considered "too big to fail". We are currently so far away from a "free market" that it's not even funny.
